Description:

The Maiombe Environmental Network is a forum that brings environmental NGOs together. Created in 2001, the networks aims to promote environmental movement, by creating training and funding opportunities for NGO projects. We believe that nature conservation is an important aspect in local management, and that our daily activities need always to take this principle into account.

Relevant Activities: 

 Promote the environmental movement in ;

Identify training and funding opportunities for Angolan environmental organizations;

Identify public-private partnerships for local organizations;

 Liaise with governmental authorities on strategic issues in the environmental area;

Training at the provincial level;

Information dissemination and sharing;

Strategic partnerships with provincial governments and private structures;

Support to local initiatives.
