Description:

GREEN was launched in 2001 with the aim of bringing together teachers and service providers to share resources and learn from each other. It is a group of teachers from schools in the region that meet regularly to discuss and share ideas about school curricula. Some of GREEN’s activities include development of resources, mapping of service providers working in the area (e.g. SANParks, CapeNature, Botanical Gardens), and development of lesson plans using insights from visits to service providers.
