Description:
The main objective of TRANSFORM is to contribute to the sustaining
of the countries natural resources by helping disadvantaged communities
in and around protected areas participate in resource management and
benefit economically form the resource
TRANSFORM does this with South African partners such as the
Department for Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEAT), South African
National Parks (SANParks) at a national level, and local government and
community organisations in the pilot areas.

Public awareness/advocacy, Training, Research and education, Local
capacity building, Policy development, Poverty reduction, Technical
assistance, Integrated development planning
