This draft of the National Cleaner Production and Sustainable Consumption strategy was prepared for a series of consultative workshops conducted in November 2004. The strategy was prepared with a framework of identifying the main constraints to the implementation of Cleaner Production in South Africa as had been experienced over the past years.
