This collection consists of 45,000 black and white photographs, color photos and slides, illustrative of life and culture in the Americas. Photographs date from 1860 to the present. Included in this collection are photograph of the construction of the OAS building, portraits of famous historical figures, works depicting the geography of member countries, handicrafts, industrial development and technology, and rural scenes. These photographs are available for publication in published texts. Single reproduction rights are $50.00, and orders are processed through the library.
