Getting ready for the future - Cities for cities: tools for improving air quality and tackling climate change

REC Slovenia as a partner within CITEAIR II project is organising in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on June 1 and 2 2010, an expert workshop to address the following issues:

  • How can cities efficiently inform the citizens on air quality?
  • How to take fine particulates (PM2.5) into account?
  • How can we link air quality to climate change? What about integrating greenhouse gases in air pollutant emission inventories?
  • Can a 'mobility indicator' help to describe  the relation between air quality and mobility/traffic conditions in a city?

The workshop is aimed at very first to experts and decision makers in the field of air quality, greenhouse gas mitigation and mobility in cities, however it is opened also for NGOs and others who has interests in the field of air quality and sustainable mobility in cities.

The official language of the workshop is English. Participation on the workshop is free of charge.
