| Abstract | In accordance with the environmental policy of BP (the operator of AIOC, the Azerbaijan International Operating Company), a survey of the marine environment in the ACG Contract Area was conducted in July 2004.
Sediment was sampled at 12 locations, water from above and below the thermocline at three locations, and plankton by double oblique net hauls at twenty locations. Stations were arranged to sample the range of habitats in the Contract Area. |
