Details

Description: in the crop sector, outcomes include improved production efficiency through cost-effective inputs and better farm management. Techniques included crop rotation, strip cropping, buffer stip and vinyard cover cropping, vegetative buffer, contour plowing

Lessons learned: Plan for mitigating possible resource use conflicts and access restrictions when restoring wetlands as a small component in a large nutrient reduction project. Be prepared to allocate more time to social issues than the share of the activity in the overall project costs.
