Américas Magazine is arguably the most important and appealing publication of the OAS, offering to its readers a reflection of their common and disparate past and a thoughtful consideration of the events and occurrences that bind them together as people of the Americas.

The magazine promotes the reciprocal understanding that is necessary to build stable economic, political and social structures supporting inter-American solidarity. Over the past 60 years, it has projected a true and positive image of the nations of the Americas.

The underlying purpose of this effort is to build trust and understanding and help create an atmosphere in which cooperation among the governments of member states is supported and in which the prestige and policies of the Organization are respected.
