Up one levelComponent 1. Introducing Cleaner Production Methods
Component1 under the PDF B Stage of the Programme involves the preparation of pilot project proposals designed to introduce (as part of the Full-Sized Project) cleaner production methods to a number of small industries; introduction of sustainable financing mechanisms; and improvement of regulation and monitoring procedures. Currently you can find here the Ukrainian report on the project first phase "Selection a small or medium-sized industry". The report is in Russian only.
Component 2. Transboundary Monitoring.
The specific objective of Project Component 2 “Improvement of Transboundary Monitoring Capacity in the Dnipro Basin” is to provide adequate arrangements designed to ensure the prompt and timely supply of reliable environmental data and information to the national and international bodies responsible for decision-making on the basin management issues; establish and maintain the exchange of information at the international level among the Dnipro Basin countries; and develop monitoring arrangements in order to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of basin management and SAP/NAP implementation processes
Component 3. Harmonization of Environmental Legislation.
The PDF-B Project Objective 3 involves the preparation of project proposal designed to monitor legislative changes in the three countries and review existing legislative framework in order to identify harmonization priorities. Currently the reports of Ukrainian and Belarus experts are represented on the Program website (sorry, the reports are available in Russian only).
