Media tour of the HELCOM BALEX DELTA exercise area
Helsinki, 27 July (HELCOM Information Service) – The Latvian Coast Guard Service and the Ministry of the Environment will host a media tour of the BALEX DELTA 2009 exercise area in the southern part of the Gulf of Riga on Wednesday, 26th of August onboard of an observer vessel "Virsaitis".
The tour (10:00 - 14:00) will be followed by a press conference (18:30) in the Freeport of Riga Authority, Kalpaka Blvd. 12. Media Representatives will be picked up by a bus at 09:00 at the hotel “Alberts” (Dzirnavu Street 33, Riga).
To participate in the event, representatives of the media must apply for accreditation by sending a fax to +371 67026563 and e-mailing a copy to prese@vidm.gov.lv. When applying for accreditation, please provide the following details: first name, last name, media affiliation, country, job title, passport No. and date of issue & expiry, type of equipment, e-mail, mobile phone number and the editorial office phone number.
The deadline for accreditation is 12th August.
