A Front view of the three-story, 52 room Centre de Recherche en Hydrobiologie (Center for Hydrobiological Research) which was built in the 1940's by the Belgians. The facility faces Lake Tanganyika, which is 0.25km to the east. This building was recently renovated by LTBP (see more). New dry and wet laboratories, a computer facility, offices, a conference area and storage were made available.
