Who can apply?

Eligible candidates should be:

• Riparian nationals (of Cambodia, the Lao PDR, Thailand or Viet Nam) living and working within the four Mekong countries continuously for more than two years prior to application or;
• Young lecturers from local universities or junior trainers from training institutes or;
• Members from tributary basin organizations

They should be/have:

• 35 years of age or under
• Practical work experience related to water resource management and river work
• Proficient in English language and able to work in an English language environment; proof of English language proficiency is a plus
• Experience with and good knowledge of the Mekong riparian countries and the Mekong River Basin is desirable;
• Hold minimum a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in water resources management and/or a related field.
