OAS and IE launch “Fall 2010” Scholarships

The Organization of American States (OAS), through its Department of Human Development and the IE Business School (IE) launched the “Fall 2010” scholarship program. Students from OAS Member States may apply to the different Bachelor's and Master's Programs of this school.
The program offers scholarships covering from 30 to 50 percent of tuition costs per student depending on the program. Students of IE that meet the requisites of their program and successfully graduate will be able to apply for an OAS Internship. The basic selection criteria will be studies, professional careers, and language skills.
The OAS-IE scholarships are an incentive related to the commitment of the OAS to paying attention to the demands of its Member States, recognizing education as one of its main focuses.
The program offers scholarships in the following programs: Bachelor in Communication, Bachelor in Architecture, Bachelor in Biology, Bachelor in Psychology, Bachelor in Art History, Bachelor in Tourism Management, Dual Degree: BBA and Bachelor of Law, Master in International Management, Master in International Relations, Master in International Legal Practice, Master in Corporate Communication, Master in Economic and Business Journalism, Master in Global Environmental Change and Master in Organizational Leadership.
The applications process will be open until May 30, 2010, and the results will be announced beginning June 28, 2010. Classes will start in September, October, and November of 2010 in Madrid, Spain, and will be offered in Spanish or English depending on the program.
