In collaboration with the International Maritime Organization “IMO” PERSGA is organizing a workshop in its Emergency Mutual Aid Response Centre in Hurghada Egypt during the period October 19th – 21st 2009 on the MARPOL Special Area Status of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. The workshop will join 15 specialists from the region to discuss and exchange experience on the regional needs of adequate reception facilities; and the most feasible manner to make these facilities available.
