Press are requested to note that the official release of the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment (ACIA) and its related overview report will take place on Tuesday 9 November, during the ACIA International Scientific Symposium on Climate Change in the Arctic, Reykjavik, Iceland, with a pre-release on Monday 8 November. Press are therefore kindly requested to respect the embargo on release of any ACIA results that are provided in advance of the 8 November pre-release date to facilitate the preparation of press or media communications.

Press conferences are being arranged in several countries as part of national ACIA communications activities. Two press conferences are being arranged during the ACIA Symposium in Reykjavik. The first is provisionally scheduled for 10:30 on Tuesday 9 November (see link below), and the second for 13:00 on Friday 12 November.
