The IVth INTER-AMERICAN DIALOGUE ON WATER MANAGEMENT is a follow-up to the actions established by the previous Dialogues, mainly the actions related to the increment of the information exchange between the peoples of the Americas. The main reason for - “IN QUEST OF SOLUTIONS” – is, above all, to disseminate to the peoples of the Americas the knowledge base they themselves built to secure proper management of the water. The proposal suggested in Dialogue IV is based on the premise that only through knowledge and good practices originated by the application of such knowledge, it is possible to establish policies to preserve and control water. Wisdom breeds appreciation, and appreciation leads to preservation. |
