Tri-lateral communications

Some of the basic prerequisites for efficient communications are well defined identity, permanent pro-active presence, and a coherent message. This requires day-to-day vertical and horizontal coordination of the Communications, education and public awareness (CEPA) activities, based on the adopted communications policy, strategy and elaborated action plans.

Within the framework of this transboundary GEF project support was provided to the building of the trilateral Prespa Park Coordination Committee’s capacity to improve its visibility and efficiently develop CEPA activities.

This section provides assessment of the current situation and recommendations for its improvements, as well as Visibility guidelines and planning tools.

The full Communications Consultancy Final report (Seizova, 2009) includes among other elaborated CEPA strategy and Action plan and Guidelines for its implementation, Communications manual, as well as discussion proposals and practical examples for event planning.

Within the framework of the Communications Consultancy the following initial information and publicity material was produced and is available on www.prespapark.org/resources1, while the design of the material is presented in the Report.
