  • Is a negative change in the natural environment, which appears partly or totally as a by-product of human actions and the abundance of living species
  • the accelerated input, from anthropogenic action, of nutrients, (especially phosphorus and nitrogen), some organic compounds, (e.g. waste and effluents) and inorganic compounds (e.g. pesticides, heavy metals, hydrocarbons) into the lake
