NGO Involvement within the Multi-stakeholders Consultation Meeting for the Drin Dialogue

MIO-ECSDE will be organizing an NGO networking meeting (23rd November)  back-to-back with  the Multi-stakeholders Consultation Meeting for the establishment of a Shared Vision for the management of the extended Drin Basin  (25 November) and the Drin Core Group Meeting (24 November). 

During the meeting the following issues will be discussed:

• the Multi-stakeholders Consultation Meeting for the Drin Dialogue: ensuring effective participation of NGOs;
  
• Ideas & proposals for concrete actions to be undertaken by  NGOs in support of the Drin Dialogue: potential to develop a project proposal for financing;
• Ideas & proposals with strong links to the Water Framework Directive and its implementation, to be carried out by NGOs within MIO-ECSDE's Annual Work Programme (to be submitted to the EC).

 The meeting will serve as a platform for NGOs to share their views and experiences in the field, in a relaxed environment.
