Launching event for the "Private Sector Participation in Water Infrastructure", Tunisia

The National Workshop on "Private Sector Participation in Water Infrastructure" was organised on 23 May 2011 in Tunis by the Bureau de Planification des Equilibres Hydrauliques, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Tunisia, the Global Water Partnership ‐ Mediterranean (GWP‐Med) and the Organisation for Economic Co‐operation and Development (OECD). Further bilateral meetings with key national stakeholders were held on 22-25 May. 

The meeting was supported by the GEF Strategic Partnership for the Mediterranean Large Marine Ecosystems (MedPartnership) and the Mediterranean Component of the EU Water Initiative (MED EUWI).
