PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project cluster Zukunft Kueste - Coastal Futures assesses the ecological and socio-economic impacts of offshore wind farming on the North Sea coast of Schleswig-Holstein. Based on the Driver-Pressure-State-Impact-Response (DPSIR) approach and the concept of ecosystem goods and services, driving forces, impacts, threats and opportunities associated with offshore wind farming are identified. Tools used include scenario techniques, modeling, questionnaires, interviews and policy analysis which lead to a conceptual model for overall system analysis.
