Text Books on Larval Fish Identification

A range of text books on fish morphology and the identification of larval fish were used during the UNEP/GEF South China Sea Project – SEAFDEC Regional Training Workshop on Larval Fish Identification and Fish Early Life History Science. The titles of these texts are outlined below. The resource persons involved in the conduct of the workshop are currently preparing a guidebook on the identification of the larvae of fish species of transboundary significance in the South China Sea and Gulf of Thailand. It is intended that this guidebook will act as the text for future courses and is being prepared with the technical assistance of the SEAFDEC Training Department. Financial support for the production of this text has been provided through the GEF project grant.
