From 1997-2002, Chris was a Lecturer in Marine Policy and Management in the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Environment at the Australian Maritime College. Since then, he has held a position with the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center and worked as a consultant on the UNEP/GEF South China Sea Project. Prior to joining the PCU, Chris was working with Australia's National Marine Science Centre while completing his higher degree research with the University of Wollongong's Centre for Maritime Policy.
