Dr. Sulan Chen graduated from the University of Maryland in 2005. She majored in political economy and international relations, with a particular interest in international environmental policies. She received her bachelor's degree from Nankai University, China and was also trained in international economics at the Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies. Prior to joining in the PCU, she worked for the GEF Secretariat, Washington DC and UNOPS, New York.
