The publication gives advice and practical support for the development and delivery of interactive, solution-oriented training to assist the implementation of the Aarhus Convention. It is designed for use by beginners as well as by more experienced trainers working with officials and civil society in the fields of public management, democracy and environment in the Eastern Europe and Caucasus region.

The manual was developed under the EU project "Environmental Information, Education and Public Awareness" implemented in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine. It supplements two user guides developed under the same project.
