Progress in Environmental Law Drafting in South Eastern Europe

The overall goal of this report is to provide a regional overview of environmental law progress in South Eastern Europe as a tool to boost regional cooperation, foster the exchange of outputs and encourage the development of informed strategic approaches to environmental law drafting. The report provides regional and country/entity-specific information and analyses of general and sectoral environmental legal issues. In addition, the report makes recommendations for each country on how the process of approximation to the EU acquis communautaire can be improved. The report is based on information available as of March 2005.
