Within the project Assistance in Environmental Law Drafting in South Eastern Europe, the REC’s Environmental Law Programme carried out work on chemicals in cooperation with the REC’s country offices in Serbia and Montenegro and in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The work supported the development of domestic environmental legislation through assistance in legal drafting, targeted regional workshops and the exchange of experience focusing on EU approximation within the Stabilisation and Association Process.
