The countries of Central and Eastern Europe face specific challenges in implementing the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol. This brochure describes the activities undertaken by the REC in addressing these challenges in the four key areas of mitigation; adaptation; flexible mechanisms; and education, training and public awareness.
