6th International Waters Conference in Dubrovnik: The MedPartnership will be there
The Strategic Partnership for the Mediterranean Sea Large Marine Ecosystem will be showcased during the 6th International Waters Conference to be held in Dubrovnik on 17-20 October 2011. As this year's Conference coincides with the 20th anniversary of the GEF’s establishment, it will focus on the transboundary results and impacts of the GEF International waters portfolio.
During these days, more than 300 participants, including GEF IW project managers, representatives of beneficiary countries, non-governmental organizations, transboundary management institutions, UN agencies and the private sector will discuss the results achieved so far, with an eye in the future of programming within and beyond the focal area. Collectively they will represent about 70 active GEF IW projects, 80 countries and the various GEF Agencies. The MedPartnership, being a GEF project will be presented on the first day.
