10th MEDCOAST Conference in Rhodes, Greece
The MEDCOAST's major international scientific meeting focusing on management of the coastal and sea areas will take place in Rhodes, Greece.
The MedPartnership will be holding a Special Session at the event with UNESCO-IHP presenting the results of two pilot projects being implemented in Morocco and Tunisia within the framework of the MedPartnership - UNESCO-IHP’s Sub-component 1.1 on “Management of Coastal Aquifers and Groundwater”. The presentation will be entitled “Vulnerability of Coastal Aquifers and Groundwater Quality in the Mediterranean: the cases of Ghar El Melh (Tunisia) and Bou-Areg (Morocco) coastal aquifers”. The full paper will be published in the Conference Proceedings and will be made available in the MedPartnership web-site.
