This international workshop aims to identify capacity-building needs in the preparation of national adaptation strategies in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and South Eastern Europe. Discussions will also focus on needs at the international, transboundary, sub-regional and local levels. Participants will be updated on the latest developments and opportunities within activities being carried out by a number of international institutions. The workshop will bring together a broad range of stakeholder groups, including government officials from relevant ministries, representatives of research institutes and universities, international experts and NGOs.
